because the machine shop played games with us. ended up being something like 200 bucks for the head rebuild, 1 piston, all new gaskets, valve cover seals, piston rings, rod bearings, and the connecting rod attached to the new piston. Somehow the piston blew a large hole through it on #6 (all the way at the firewall). Luckly it didn't even make a mark on the cylinder walls and there no was damage at all to anything else. overall a much easier car to work on than the Z but not nearly as cool and it definitely doesn't run as smooth or as strong as a Z motor.
